Silo Shooter is a 2D action platformer designed for mobile. The game's objective is for players to reach the top of the silo before the time limit expires to prevent the launch of a missile.
What sets Silo Shooter apart from other games is its unique environmental mechanic, where all levels take place as if the player is navigating around a cylinder. Players can move in circles when there are no obstacles in their way, and bullets can travel right around.
Silo Shooter was inspired by my participation in the SEGA arcade jam. Featuring skill-based gameplay, short, fast-paced levels, a time limit to add tension, and easy replayability.
I also experimented with mobile monetization by incorporating Unity's mobile ads. Although, players can currently complete the game in one session, so I'm developing new level packs to enhance player retention and extend the game's lifespan.
